Mr. Ian Otto Collins - Guitar Instructor
Mr. Ian Otto Collins is a master guitar teacher and performer with decades of professional experience. He first picked up a guitar at age 10 and has played and studied nearly everyday since.
Stylistically speaking, Mr. Ian grew up on rock n roll, jazz, and alternative music. As he got older he fell in love with acoustic fingerstyle playing inspired by artists such as John Mayer, Jack Johnson, and Jason Mraz.
Today, Ian performs as a solo artist and with multiple vocalists and bands of varying genres. He has played at highly notable venues such as the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland, the Champions Club at Nationals Stadium, and Audi Field- home of DC United.
